Within the Program of Joddran ( literally means Walls in Arabic),
Development House in cooperation with Freedom House has held the first training
camp for journalists and youth activists from Sana'a, Aden, Taiz, which will
run from 10/25/2013 to 10/30/2013.
The program aims for networking and building the capacity of thirty young male and female journalists and activists from Sana’a, Aden and Taiz in areas related to the right of expression and access to information, as well as, the project seeks to empower the participants with skills, tactics and strategies in digital advocacy and digital security.

"This training aims to provide
information and new skills that invest the internet and the info-Activism in
order to enrich the Yemeni streets with practical campaigns and strategies that
keep track and feed the community movement at the present time", said the project
coordinator, Mr. Nabil Ahmed ِAl-Khader.
"The work on the ground needs detection, enrichment and documentation,
besides to parallel collection of works on Internet to become more
professional, effective and reach out to the target groups."
It is worth mentioning
that the DH is a non-governmental organization founded to respond to the civil
